The Dracula Experience

The Dracula Experience is a fantastic attraction for those interested in Whitby’s connection to Bram Stoker’s Dracula. This experience consists of a show featuring local actors, animation, artefacts, and special effects to tell the famous story of how Dracula arrived in Whitby. This show has been described as scary as it is amusing and will certainly be a highlight of your holiday in Whitby. Once the show is over, you are led through the Dracula mini exhibition which features a mix of faux-artefacts as well as vampire-related props from theatre and film.

Equally eerie as it is silly, The Dracula Experience is a highly affordable budget experience for families or vampire lovers alike! This attraction is best for families with children 8+ as very young children may find elements of The Dracula Experience a little too spooky!

 Haunted Nights

The spooky people behind The Dracula Experience also offer an evening activity (subject to season and availability) which older children and teenagers will love! Haunted Nights is full of eerie paranormal investigations led by a professional paranormal investigator team. Legend says that a young girl died from tuberculosis in the 19th century in the very building The Dracula Experience is hosted in – there is always a chance of spotting bizarre floating orbs or even catching the glimpse of a shadow of a little girl playing on the first floor.

Haunted Nights usually take place every first Friday and Saturday of each month between the hours of 23:00-03:00. This event is highly sought after, so best book your tickets far in advance.
